Our coaches will give you specific skills to learn during each session and a clear understanding of why you’re learning those skills.
We guarantee a ratio of 2 students to 1 coach in a group sessions, ensuring high-quality surf sessions and safety in the water.
Jiwa video review
We actually have a reputation in the Bukit, Bali… and it is about our video review. Our head surf coach Monot goes the extra mile every single lesson. You won’t believe how fast your surfing improves with these video reviews!
We have an in house videographer who will not miss any of your waves, come rain or shine, dry season or wet… He will be there capturing your wave so Monot can closely analyse each move you made.
We film the surfing lessons with professional camera equipment and provide videos in a folder after each session.
WHAT IS MY LEVEL

Level 0
You have never surfed before or have only tried surfing a few times.
YOU Will focus on:
- Essential water safety skills
- Paddling technique
- How to pop up correctly on the board
- Positioning on the board
- Standing up on whitewater waves
- Basic rules of surfing etiquette

Level 1
You can catch your own unbroken green waves, ranging from waist to shoulder height, though inconsistently. You are not yet entirely comfortable with catching your own waves or surfing independently. You can angle your take-off and have decent control of the board, moving left and right on the face of the wave.
YOU Will focus on:
- Learning to generate and control speed
- Staying on the active part of the wave
- Improving your ability to turn both left and right
- Riding the wave all the way to the end of it

Level 2
You can catch your own unbroken green waves, ranging from waist to shoulder height, though inconsistently. You are not yet entirely comfortable with catching your own waves or surfing independently. Level 3
At this level, you can consistently catch your own unbroken waves, ranging from shoulder to head high, and surf independently. You can easily stand up, turn, generate speed, change direction, and ride a wave all the way to the shore. You may feel ready to attempt basic surfing maneuvers like cutbacks, bottom turns, and top turns on the waves.
YOU Will focus on:
- Enhancing your ability to generate speed on various wave types
- Beginning to learn how to perform cutbacks, bottom turns, and top turns

Level 4
You are able to perform all or some of the basic surfing maneuvers (such as cutbacks, bottom turns, and top turns) on both your front and backside. You are looking to improve and refine your technique.
YOU Will focus on:
- Performing committed maneuvers in the critical part of the wave while maintaining speed, power, and flow

Level 5
You are highly confident in the surf and capable of executing maneuvers in the critical part of the wave with speed, power, and flow. You are comfortable surfing overhead waves and are seeking to enhance your skills by practicing high-performance maneuvers such as snaps, floaters, airs, and laybacks, or by experiencing your first ride in the barrel.
Barrel sessions
In surfing, there is a thing that many strive for. It is to get “inside” of the wave. We call it getting into the “barrel,” or into the “tube, curl, green room or pipe.”
When you are perfectly into that wonderful watery pocket there is a certain sound that is unmistakable. It’s a sound that once you have heard it you wanna hear it again and again. Like the angels singing. Combined with the feeling of the cover up it is more or less the ultimate surfing experience.
